Ho Ho Ho, its Christmas one of my most wonderful time of the year and I hope it is for you. In order not to ruin your Christmas by people it’s important to know your worth and stand by it. For some of us, we have struggled to know our worth which has caused us to be treated badly by people. Some people do know their worth but struggle to stand by it. We live a life based on the standards required by people, agreeing to their perspective about us and doing all we can to get their approval and acceptance.
But reality sets in when their approval and acceptance stops and you’re left with yourself feeling irrelevant and hopeless. It’s sad to be treated that way but when you don’t know your worth, one will be taking for granted. Sometimes manipulation may set in and you will no longer make your own decisions and they will control all that you do. I have listed a few tips that you can examine to stand by your worth.
1 Know you were created by God for greatness and not by Man.
2 Accepting and loving who you are and not wanting to be someone else but yourself.
3. You have the right to stand by your beliefs, decisions, morals and values.
4. Don’t be a pushed and tossed by people to live their own life.
5. Don’t be forced to agree with peoples choices and opinions.
6. Most importantly seeks Gods wisdom on whose opinions are of value and relevant to you.
Knowing your worth is important but standing by it is what defines who you are. It’s amazing when you stand your grounds people will begin to come around and accept you and the choices you have made. As long as your worth is not harming anyone and your pleasing God not seeking to please Man, then you are on track. Knowing your worth breeds confidence and strengthens your mind to achieve greater things because you believe you can do all things. And even when you fail you can get back up again and try and try and keep trying never giving up.
This Christmas I hope you stand your grounds and enjoy a Merry Christmas knowing that you were bought with a price 1 Corinthians 6 vs 20 and Jesus is the reason for the season to be joyful, thankful and merry. As you step into a New Year cast all your cares and worries to Jesus Psalm 55 vs 22 and He will make you confident and courageous to accept and understand that your worth is priceless.
Merry Christmas All.
xoxo,
