76__broken_pieces_by_AznChibiAdapting a habit is as easy as catching flu and I am certain that you can agree with me on that. It’s either you adapt a good habit or a bad habit. But am sure most people will agree that adapting a good habit is harder than adapting a bad habit. Hmmm, ok let’s take eating chocolate verse doing some exercise which is easier, while for me I will certainly say eating chocolate is easier, while that’s if you’re a chocolate lover.

 Ok let’s say you’re trying to stop a bad habit, for example saying negative stuffs about yourself what you can do to change this habit into a good one. Now, I will suggest you study materials and observe people that focus on how to stay positive with your words. Yea, you can start studying these materials but please note that a month of study will not change your habit like boom, while you can begin to see improvements on how you speak but if you are not consistent month after month and making this area of study a part of your lifestyle then you might just be back at the original spot you were which was still speaking negative words about yourself.

Why is it important to make this pattern of study a lifestyle? So, think about how you brush your teeth in the morning, in fact for most people it’s the first thing that is done when we wake up and the last thing we do before bed. Now for most of us, we have become consistent with brushing our teeth for a fresh breath. Just imagine the day you decide you are done with brushing your teeth. Oops, we are all in for trouble with your breath. So, that’s how we are supposed to be with changing bad habits been consistent is the key and never thinking you have reached the point of perfection and you stop growing in that area. There’s never a thing like excessive perfection, for each strive we take to changing a bad habit, we become better and better in building a good one.

As you become consistent in studying this are, observing people and accessing the words you speak, it begins to cleanse your bad habit and you begin to exhibit the good habit. Then your loved ones begin to see the change in you, you begin to see the change in you and you begin to influence people around you. And before you know it, you become the change people want to be. People want to speak with you and wonder how you attained this goal of speaking positively. And most importantly you begin to love yourself more than you ever did.
