When we start exercising on the treadmill, we start slowly and gradually increase our speed to burn more calories. when we feel tired we relax, drink some water to get our pace and start again I wanna believe WE DON’T GIVE UP as we need to get into these lovely dresses. This can also be applied, as God has commanded us to meditate on His word day and night Joshua 1:8. This can be done by gradually studying a character in the bible with a similar issue of sin you’re facing or getting a study guide which can be found on the internet, Yippy you don’t have to spend a dime just Google it Ladies.
Now, Lets say you feel you can’t just change your sinful ways, WHAT DO YOU DO! The same way you call your doctor’s attention to an unhealthy situation, you should seek for help from those that are spiritual empowered with God’s word e.g your pastors or close relative. REMEMBER A SHUT MOUTH CAN’T GET ANYTHING Matthew 7:7. In addition, in times of weakness and you feel you just can’t do it anymore you can pray that the Holy spirit empowers your inner strength Ephesians 3:14-16 and see the good Lord renew your mind each day Romans 12:2. Ok lets get it right am not saying that once you pick up your bible, read it and pray that automatically you would become a change person. Just imagine you were to lose calories it won’t just happen by running on the treadmill. hmmm I don’t think so…To lose body fat you will have to change your diet, eat more healthy meals and stay away from some meals.
Also you might need a mix of exercising activities dependent on your body type. E.g Taking Dance classes or Carrying lightweights. So when asking the Lord to cleanse your sinful nature, it is a process and IT’S STARTS FROM YOU! YOU NEED TO ASK YOURSELF DO YOU REALLY WANT A CHANGE AND DO YOU REALLY WANT JESUS TO COME INTO YOUR HEART John 15:5 . IF YES then You will need a mix, which is reading the word of God, a mix of praise and worship, reading Christian books by great authors and attending church events etc Psalm 37:4 . Most importantly you need to consistently build a personal relationship with God this will allow you hear his voice and instructions on steps to take in becoming a better person. Example God can instruct you not to hang out with a group of friends you love so much as they indulge in sinful activities, as they can tempt you to sin Matthew 4:1-11.
Most times girls its usually the things you love must like ice-cream and cupcakes you have to give up to stay physically healthy versa spiritually healthy. Now the question is after losing body fat by exercising and you look fit and healthy and Yes your back on track. What happens if you totally loose guide of your exercise habits and dieting. Well, I give you just a few weeks and you will be back to the same fat spot again. That’s exactly the same with building your spirit man, the moment you stop meditating on the word of God you give way for the temptation of sin and you are back on the sin spot again.
So Great Tip that can help you Keep Spiritual fit. 1. Keep your eyes on God and His word and By His Grace you shall remain fit in faith. 2.Gradually you will grow to be an Army of God who can command and control her self in the time of temptation. Colossians 2:7
